Guest Additions: make sure the virtual mouse autodetection works on ﬁrst reboot after installing the Additions on X.Org server 1.5 and later.

Finally, always had problems with Ubuntu 9.04 and VB 2.2. Mouse never worked and I had to manually type it inside xorg.conf.

still waiting for Direct 3d drivers to support graphics cards

and yes i know nvidia/ati drivers are not open source

I can't install it in windows, every time at a a given time it starts rolling back action and never displays why.

Go to C:windowsinf and search all the .inf files for "SUN".

Any that it finds, open them to check they are definitely Virtualbox related, then delete them.

Then retry your install

Anybody know if this fixes the networking problems that were introduced with 2.2.0? I had to revert back to 2.1.4 to get my VM's working again.

Hope this fixes the problems that are incuring in linux, ubuntu 9.04, and opensuse 11.1. Ubuntu loaded fine, but on first boot the screen came up then about 10 minutes later went black, and never did come back up even with servral reboots. Opensuse during installation (Gnrome) kept giving me errors, then finally quite loading; had to go to KDE 4.1 to get it up and running. Win XP and Vista loaded up fine (am using Win 7 RC1, under Virtual Box 2.1.4 there had been no problems with either of the O/S).
