* Supports parallel erasing
* Writes in Disc-at-Once/Track-at-Once modes

Don't quite understand why anybody would want or care for Parallel erasing? Please tell me.
If I have a disk that I don't want anybody to ever read, I cut it in half with heavy duty scissors. Why would I want to erase?
Is the parallel erasing for CDrw?
so true.
I saw a blank 50GB BD-RW for a $150
I was like rofl "are you kidding me?"
