I agree. Unfortunately there are people who sit there pressing F5 on the main page all day long waiting for a news article they can troll in.
Photoshop has become bloated junk and I wouldn't use it if I wasn't required to. At the end of the day though, if you know your tools it doesn't matter what you use as long as the work gets done.

Bloated? Hardly. Photoshop CS3 runs A LOT faster for me than CS1 or CS2 ever has. And I use Photoshop at work, so no cracked copy.

I use it all the time on my PowerBook. They look nothing alike.
But...that's just a concept, I believe. It would be nice if they got rid of the HUGE visibility and lock icons in the layer previews to shave maybe 16px of width from that entire floating window. And shrink the statusbar. And give it a color scheme that doesn't look like an elephant trampled it into the mud.
