Azureus is a Java-based BitTorrent client, with support for I2P and Tor anonymous communication protocols. It is free software and cross-platform, and currently runs under Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and Unix. Azureus implements the BitTorrent protocol using java language and comes bundled with many invaluable features for both beginners and advanced users:

The process takes minutes, and the video scan reach substantially more viewers worldwide, almost instantly. Content creators can also distribute content to millions for free without paying any hosting or bandwidth costs. Vuze can also help create buzz by spreading the movie across the Internet as easily as if it were a 5 minute video clip.

- Auto-open MyShares if any shares
- Handle 503s better with webseeds
- Disable HTTP authentication dialog for webseeds

Azu, even Vuze, is delightful when properly CONFIGURED.


it can even be configured to look oldschool





Plus I don't have to tolerate crap clients or barely-sharing peers with azu. microTorrent only has IPA banning.
