Thanks Arkadiy for this. Talisman is replacement for Windows Desktop and shell replacement. Using "Talisman", you can build any interface for your computer. In the "Talisman" workspace, you can place any number of icons, buttons, pictures, forms or other objects. All objects can run external programs or internal shell commands. You can add HTML-pages and FLASH movies to the desktop and add sounds to different events. Talisman supports 32bit WindowsXP icons of any sizes from 16x16 to 128x128 pixels. The program displays 32bit icons in all Windows versions from Windows 98/ME to Windows NT4/2000/XP.

I remember a great debate a while back and someone brought this up I had never heard of it, but I looked into it after that, some nice themes for it, definitely something different, friend ran it on his pc, seemed to run fine and smooth, but man are there some crap themes out there for it. Could be a very popular thing if they had of marketed or published it enough. Im Surprised stardock didnt buy em out or something really.
