If you can get near it..as the gremlins are well and truely guarding it.....telewest has a registration server up for the trial of its new 2mbit internet service which is launching in the summer.

Assuming you can get to the page all thats required is a quick questionaire and bobs your uncle a free 2mbit connection for the same price as your existing service.

There are some catches however. To be eligible for the trial you have to be an existing BY 1mbit customer and NOT live in a Eurobell area.

So far i've been unable to sign up myself as peeps appear to be camping out at the server the demand is that high. When I phoned them they were aware of the load issues on the server and they currently advise people trying to register to keep trying.
