It sounds too much like a really dull version of Sims and I can only imagine that its going to be a Multiple Choice sort of game where certain answers do certain things and the talks are going to be a little like the bargaining thing on Oblivion where you have to choose what people would most like to here!
The only way I can see this being at all worth the money is if you get to run the country afterwards or you have to follow a points system where you can't be the perfect candidate! And I guarantee if anyone actual buys it they will bring one out every four years, if they think the public are stupid then every year!
I just hope to god they don't bring one out in the UK!

Wouldn't mind seeing a narrated vid of some sort showing it in action describing the game though. Screenshots rarely do a game justice.
